ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad has been added to the Always Elegant Gift Baskets’ “Your Cause is Our Cause” community benefit program, giving shoppers a chance to donate to the squad through their purchases.
Under the “Your Cause is Our Cause” program, visitors to Always Elegant Gift Baskets can have 10% of their purchase costs donated to the Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad by mentioning the squad or the code AHFAS.
“As an all-volunteer organization that survives on donations from the community and from the borough, every dollar helps,” said Richard Huff, 1st Lieutenant of the AHFAS. “The ‘Your Cause is Our Cause’ program is a great way for the community to shop for fine gifts in a local business and help out an important community organization in the process.”
Always Elegant Gift Baskets is located at 68 First Ave, Atlantic Highlands, and carries a variety of gifts for all occasions, including birthdays, get-well, sympathy, thank you and congratulations. The store also offers a full line of Webkinz animals and accessories.
“We are excited to offer this year round program that aids a group that means so much to our neighbors,” said Lorraine Goode, owner of Always Elegant Gift Baskets.
The Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad provides free, around-the-clock emergency medical services to residents of the borough. Members of the squad give their time for extensive training and to respond to calls. The squad responded to 448 calls in 2007.
